Help deliver crayons and Art Education to vulnerable community classrooms and celebrate teachers this summer at The 1 MILLION Crayon Drive and Exhibit!

August is National Crayon Collection Month, and this year, we’re gearing up for the biggest crayon drive in history. Help us achieve our goal of collecting 1 MILLION Crayons by delivering your collection of gently-used crayons to an LA area drop point. All crayons collected will be donated to local schools and Head Start Centers to make sure we outfit as many students as possible with these valuable tools of expression, easing teachers’ burden of having to purchase supplies out-of-pocket. At Crayon Collection, we believe teachers should be able to focus on THE most important thing, students.

What exactly does 1 MILLION Crayons in 1 place look like?

We’re going to find out on August 11th. Give us your lightly-loved crayons by donating at one of our Los Angeles drop points and see your crayons as part of the 1 MILLION Crayon Exhibit at Westfield Mall – Culver City!

Crayon Collection invites area teachers not only to experience the 1 MILLION Crayon Exhibit, but to also do their “crayon shopping” by presenting a valid school Educator’s ID and helping us then dissemble the exhibit in order to stock up for back-to-school. Area teachers, please RSVP HERE.

Follow our easy steps to start your own collection and support your local students and teachers. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, participate in the drive and exhibit by delivering your crayons to one of or Los Angeles area drop points.

To make counting easier on everybody, we’ve already calculated that 2,500 crayons fit in one brown paper grocery bag.
