START YOUR OWN CRAYON COLLECTION
AND JOIN OUR NATIONAL CRAYON DRIVE!

Step 1

Find a good spot for a box or basket for the crayons to be collected in. You can click here to download a sign for your crayon collection box.

Step 2

Spread the word! Inform EVERYONE that the Crayon Collection is on. Ask around for crayon donations. Download our printable flyer to hand-out.

Step 3

Ask local restaurants that provide crayons to kid diners if they would be willing to add to your collection.

Step 4

Find those crayons a new home! Use the forms below to find a Title 1 school or Head Start Center near you. Learn more about the schools we serve.

Share your impact with us through this quick form!

Take photos or videos of your crayon donation and post your progress on social media using hashtag #CRAYONCOLLECTION. We might repost it!

Color Kindness Goes Purple!

this project is so much fun at home!

After children have collected their crayons to donate we offer them an optional next step. We ask children to bundle about 10-12 crayons in a rainbow of colors into a small bag or pouch.

Next, we ask the child to include a hand-written note of positivity. This gentle expression of care goes a long way and is a source of joy for both recipient and writer.

This is most fun when done in a group.
