We are kicking off 2018 by donating 8,000 crayons + kindness notes to the children of Uganda thanks to our friends at This Bar Saves Lives. This January, their team will be visiting Uganda to help save the lives of children who are severely malnourished. Our crayons and notes of kindness will bring some joy and color to their lives. This will be the first time these children have ever seen or touched a crayon before.
KID VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We will be writing kindness notes on Friday January 5th between 10am-1pm at Crayon Collection in Marina del Rey. If your child is able to join us please reply to this email – space is limited! This Bar Saves Lives will be providing snacks!
Crayon Collection Color Kindness Project
We ask children to share their kindness by writing little notes that are then inserted into our Crayon Collection pouches. These pouches are filled with gently used crayons and are delivered to children around the world. The kindness note is a way to connect children around the world in a deep and meaningful way. We are always surprised by their incredible ability to share love.

The images below were provided courtesy of This Bar Saves Lives from previous trips made by their team to feed children who were on the brink of death due malnutrition. Their work has had us in awe for years and we are thrilled to see that our crayons will make their way to support children who really have so little.
HUGE THANKS TO THIS BAR SAVES LIVES!
AND HUGE THANKS TO YOU, OUR AMAZING SUPPORTERS! Once again, we want to thank you for all your incredible support for our cause throughout 2017. We are able to inspire creativity and art education in the most underserved areas of the world by simply changing the trajectory of a would-be trashed crayon. We can’t wait to kick off 2018!
